Democrat Speak

That used to be a good word. Thanks Democrats. You ruined a perfectly good word. Now it means something more like despair.

That's the problem with Democrats. They ruin words. They change their meaning and twist them until they lose their power.

There was another good word - "Change." At least it WAS a good word. Thanks to Democrats it means more of the same bad stuff.

Along with everything else, they have to ruin our words and phrases. Phrases like: "Yes We Can" can never be used like the Little Engine that Could used the phrase.

And what about "I don't recall?" That used to mean we could not remember something. Now it means "You will never know how I made a hundred thousand dollars in cattle futures." Thanks Hillary.

Hillary just brought us a new one - "I take full responsibility." In Democrat Speak that means "That's the end of the issue, thanks and good night." When a Democrat takes full responsibility, they mean they DO NOT take responsibility, and expect no consequences.

Then what about the all important phrase, "I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky." That phrase is meaningless now. Think of all the men who could have plausibly denied having sex with Monica Lewinsky. But now they can't.

And Joe Biden! You stole one of our favorite phrases and made it worthless! Now apparently virtually ANYTHING can be called a big effing deal! Thanks Joe. I always saved my effings for true effing occasions, but Democrats have to even destroy our effing profanity.

I remember the days words had power. Like when Ronald Reagan was President. But when Democrats are in power, Professors of Language head for the bunker.

Ten thousand "Build a bridge to the twenty first centuries" don't even stand up to one "Mister Gorbachev tear down this wall!"
